Is anyone else loving this cookie series as much as we are? So far we’ve shared the secret recipes to our Chocolate Snap Cookies, Pumpkin Cookies, and S’mores Cookies, and today, we’re coming to you with a true classic: Oatmeal Chocolate Chip!

These cookies are chewy and just the right amount of sweet, and the chocolate chips somehow stay melt-y no matter what time the kitchen serves them. They’re a favorite around here, and we think they’ll become the same for your family if you try them!

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Butter, softened
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 2 teaspoons Water
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 2 1/2 cups Flour
  • 3 cups Oats
  • 1 3/4 cups Chocolate Chips
  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Line sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the sugars and butter. Add the eggs, vanilla, and water. Beat well.
  3. Mix salt, baking soda, and flour together. Add to sugar mixture and mix until just combined. Stir in oats and chocolate chips.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Scoop cookies by the heaping tablespoon. Bake at 375 degrees for 11-13 minutes or until almost light brown.
