Hello! My name is Sophia and I am SO excited to be working at camp this summer! I was a camper for 10 years, and now I am a freshman at Tulane (in New Orleans!) Though camp might look a little different this year, I am so excited to meet so many new faces and have the best time atop the high adventure hill!

Personal Interests: I love playing tennis, doing yoga, running, traveling, and listening to music that people recommend to me.

When I have an hour of free time, I like to… Relax! I miss rest hour so so so much.

Something you wouldn’t guess about me: I am weirdly good at skiing- though I live in the South, so no opportunity has presented itself for me to show off my skills. I am also obsessed with my dog.

The emoji that describes me: That salsa dancer with the red dress. I love to dance! (though I am not very good at it)

The one thing that makes any day better: Sunshine! New Orleans has the best weather- it’s sunny and warm for most of the year which I really enjoy.

Best camp tradition? Closing vespers

Favorite Evening Program? The watershow

The camp food I can’t wait to eat is… This is a hard one… the bread for sure, but I also am excited to have cheesy chicken again.

Item that I MUST bring to Camp with me: My weighted blanket. I know this is not the smartest option in the heat, but I cannot sleep without it.

My go-to pump up song: Best Song Ever- One Direction

The best book I’ve read this year: The Ragamuffin Gospel- Brennan Manning

My guilty pleasure: Cranking up Harry Styles in my dorm and dancing it out.

The most famous person I’ve met is… Patrick Dempsey (aka McDreamy- heart. eyes. !!!!!)

My favorite cheesy joke: Any type of dad joke

I wanted to work at Greystone because… I cannot imagine a summer without it. Last summer made me realize how much I cherish camp and how positively it affects my entire year.

The best thing about camp will be… All the new faces! I cannot wait to meet everyone!
