Eva Parker

Samford University

3rd year on staff

Hi friends! I am a very recent graduate of Samford who couldn’t resist coming back for a victory lap at Greystone. It is my favorite place in the world for obvious reasons, and I’m so stoked to be back for a summer of loving on and pouring into campers! I am a big reader, writer, coffee drinker, and a frequent (but untalented) dancer. Cannot wait to see y’all so soon!!!

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.” John 15:4-5

Personal Interests: Reading, writing, catching up with a friend, listening to music

When I have an hour of free time, I like to… Hang out with a friend

Something you wouldn’t guess about me: I have an extra tooth stuck horizontally in the roof of my mouth (lol)

The one thing that makes any day better: Having a jam session with my friends in the car :)

Best camp tradition? Sunday concerts!

Favorite Evening Program? CORN ROAST

The camp food I can’t wait to eat is… Cheesy chicken

Item that I MUST bring to Camp with me: My headlamp is not a want but a NEED

My go-to pump up song: September by Earth, Wind, and Fire

The best book I’ve read this year: You Are the Girl for the Job by Jess Connolly

My guilty pleasure: Sonic mozzarella sticks haha

The most famous person I’ve met is… I once met Hall & Oates in an elevator!

My favorite cheesy joke: Today I was looking through the book of numbers when I realized I didn’t have yours (we love a good Christian pickup line)

I wanted to work at Greystone because… The Holy Spirit is SO present at camp and the joy you’ll experience while working here is incomparable!

The best thing about camp will be… Seeing everyone after a long year of seeing basically no one :(
