Hi! My name is Mary Bea Hires and I am a freshman biomedical physiology major at the University of Georgia! Camp is my favorite place in the whole world, and after many years as a camper, I am so overjoyed to be coming back as a counselor! I love the fun and silliness of camp, but most importantly love what camp is all about- Praising God! I cannot wait for the best summer ever :)

A few things I love: My friends, dogs, football, shopping, worship, pilates

When I have an hour of free time, I like to… Go to a workout class or sleep - no in between!

Something you wouldn’t guess about me: I am a massive star wars nerd and know almost everything about it!

The one thing that makes any day better: Loaded tea run with a good friend!

Best camp tradition? Singing in the dining hall

Favorite Evening Program? The Senior Play!

The camp food I can’t wait to eat is… cheesy chicken

Item that I MUST bring to Camp with me: my fan and my bible

My favorite cheesy joke: What do you say if someone steals your cheese? Hey! Thats Nacho Cheese (my dads favorite joke ever)

At camp, I’ll be the one… Dancing and singing as loud as possible!

I wanted to work at Greystone because… Because of the counselors who poured so much into me in my years as a camper. I cannot wait to give back!

The best thing about camp will be… The constant intentional time with God! Truly nothing compares.
