10 years as a camper

1st year on staff

Hi!! My name is Lauren-Clay, but I also go by LC. I am currently a freshman at the University of Tennessee and am a nursing major. I am also part of Chi Omega! I am so excited to be able to give back to the camp that did so much for me. Greystone truly is my home away from home!

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” - Proverbs 3:5-6

A few things I love: I love walking my dogs, coffee dates with friends, baking with my family, and devotions with my friends.

When I have an hour of free time, I like to… I like to wind down by doing a craft like needlepoint.

Something you wouldn’t guess about me: My sisters and I will all be working at camp this summer!

The one thing that makes any day better: A hug from a friend instantly makes my day better!

Best camp tradition? My favorite camp tradition is the nightly devotions. As a camper, it helped me grow in my faith and it is always nice to end the night in the Lords word.

Favorite Evening Program? I LOVE Jimboy Olympics! Since it happens every four years, it makes it super special!

The camp food I can’t wait to eat is… I cannot wait to eat poppyseed chicken! It is by far my favorite and I make it with my sisters at home too.

Item that I MUST bring to Camp with me: My camp must is a good book. It’s nice to have when I don’t need to take a nap during rest hour.

The song that describes me: The song that describes me is Brand New Day by Ellie Holcomb.

My favorite cheesy joke: I love any knock knock jokes.

At camp, I’ll be the one… At camp, I’ll be the one who is always up for a shop date.

Come find me if… Come find me if you need a hug or want to go on a shop date.

I wanted to work at Greystone because… I want to work at Greystone because it is a special place that has shaped my life, and I want to give back to it.

The best thing about camp will be… The best thing about camp will be growing closer to the Lord with my friends.
