Hey y’all! My name is Anne, and I am a junior at Liberty University studying elementary education. This is my 3rd year on staff, and I can’t wait for the exciting challenges and adventures this summer is going to bring! I am so excited to return once again to Greystone, the best place in the whole world!
A few things I love: Books, coffee, chickens, and Jesus
When I have an hour of free time, I like to… Curl up on the couch with a cup of coffee and read a good book or binge watch a TV show
Something you wouldn’t guess about me: I am classically trained in violin and piano.
The one thing that makes any day better: A little talk with Jesus and a hug from my grandma
Best camp tradition? Dining Hall songs and Breakfast Club
Favorite Evening Program? The plays, Production Night, and Vespers
The camp food I can’t wait to eat is… Truck Driver’s Special (the kitchen staff makes the best gravy!)
Item that I MUST bring to Camp with me: A lot of books and my stuffed animal
The song that describes me: The Hummingbird’s Nest by Gabrielle Hope
My favorite cheesy joke: Why did the deer go to the dentist? It had buck teeth!
At camp, I’ll be the one… Making sure you know how amazing and loved you are
Come find me if… You ever need someone to talk to, rather it’s a much needed DMC or you just want a book rec or help on summer math homework!
I wanted to work at Greystone because… There is no other place I’ve found where I can gain good experience for my career while having fun and mentoring young girls at the same time. I have made such fond memories and great friends my past couple of years on staff!
The best thing about camp will be… The people! Everyone I’ve interacted with, campers and staff, are the sweetest, most passionate, hardworking, and caring people I have ever met.
