10 years as a camper

1st year on staff

My name is Amelia Earle and I am a freshman at Furman University. I am from Houston, TX. I have gone to camp for 10 years as a camper. I am excited to make more lifelong friendships and make a positive impact on campers. Something you should know about me is I am open to do anything and would love to help Camp Greystone in any way possible

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you” Ephesians 4:32

A few things I love: dance, any type of food, and card games

When I have an hour of free time, I like to… meet friends to hang out or do sudoku

Something you wouldn’t guess about me: I am a big traveler. In high school, I studied abroad in Spain for the entire year

The one thing that makes any day better: random acts of kindness from Strangers

Best camp tradition? Breakfast club

Favorite Evening Program? Either Protect your Counselor or 5 year ceremony

The camp food I can’t wait to eat is… Shepherd’s Pie

Item that I MUST bring to Camp with me: A good easy-to-read book

The song that describes me: Eye of the tiger

My favorite cheesy joke: What do you call a fish without eyes? A fish

At camp, I’ll be the one… who is in the background, uplifting others with kindness and positive words of affirmation. I used to be introverted and prefer to not be in the spotlight

Come find me if… you ever need someone to uplift you or want to talk about dancing with the stars or Spain

I wanted to work at Greystone because… growing up, the counselors were always someone I looked up to and I want to be that for others

The best thing about camp will be… connecting with campers
