2 Years on staff

I have 2 granddaughters who will be at June camp. I have 3 children (2 sons, 1 daughter) and 7 grandchildren (6 girls, 1 boy) I never went to camp as a child but had great summers with cousins in Florida, going to Grand Isle, LA - a barrier island on the coast, or playing outside for hours. I am a retired nurse/nurse practitioner - pulled out of retirement by my granddaughters!! I’ve been married 45 years to my husband, Phil. We live on 19 acres in a very rural area in Louisiana.

“But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we are dead in our transgressions -it is by grace you have been saved” - Ephesians 2:4

A few things I love: Reading, sewing, growing things, grandchildren hugs!

When I have an hour of free time, I like to… Go outside and check all my flowers

Something you wouldn’t guess about me: Before I became a nurse, I was going to be a PE teacher!

The one thing that makes any day better: Being in Grand Isle, LA at the beach

The camp food I can’t wait to eat is… Salad Bar

Item that I MUST bring to Camp with me: My Kindle

At camp, I’ll be the one… Applying ice and bandaids!

Come find me if… you need ice or a bandaid!

I wanted to work at Greystone because… I wanted to go back to meet more great nurses!

The best thing about camp will be… Seeing all the happy faces
