Yuliana Rust

UNC Chapel Hill

Songwriting, Drawing, and Photography

1st year on staff

Hi! My name is Yuliana Rust, and I’m a second-year honors student at UNC-Chapel Hill. I’m a Music Major with a minor in Songwriting and Multimedia Composition. I hope to combine my passion for music and writing professionally, whether that’s through music composition or music journalism. I love reading, playing music with friends, being outside, traveling, learning new languages, and helping others discover the beauty of creating music. This is my first year at Camp Greystone, and I am so excited to get to spend the summer working with kids in the great outdoors!

“Therefore I tell you: Don’t worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothing? Consider the birds of the sky: They don’t sow or reap or gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you worth more than they? Can any of you add one moment to his life span by worrying… But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you. Therefore don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:25-27; 33-34

When I have an hour of free time, I like to… read or songwrite

Something you wouldn’t guess about me: My first language is actually Russian.

I wanted to work at Greystone because… it sounded like a wonderful experience

The best thing about camp will be… all the time spent in nature
