Heya! I’m Valerie, but my friends call my Val. I’m an illustration and animation major about to start my sophomore fall at Biola University in SoCal. I’m so excited to meet everyone and grow new skills with you all this summer as our hearts are shaped in Christ :)

A few things I love: Drawing, singing, rollerblading, cats, the ocean, and a host of good books and music!

When I have an hour of free time, I like to… curl up in a cozy spot with my favorite books, a hot mug of chai, and a cat.

Something you wouldn’t guess about me: Though I admire and appreciate them a lot, I’m actually deathly afraid of spiders.

The one thing that makes any day better: a hug from someone special

The camp food I can’t wait to eat is… Anything cooked by the delicious chef team ;)

Item that I MUST bring to Camp with me: my hammock!

My favorite cheesy joke: Friday was a sad day… but the day after that… was a SADDER-day. 😔

At camp, I’ll be the one… who can feel out the vibe and get the right music going >:)

I wanted to work at Greystone because… I’ve always wanted to work at a summer camp, and everything you guys do here seems amazing! PLUS, my mom worked there when she was my age :)

The best thing about camp will be… getting to know some REALLY AWESOME PEOPLE and growing in maturity in the Lord while enjoying every minute of it.
