Hi! I’m Catherine Vaughan, and I’m so excited to be at Greystone this summer! I’m from Tampa, Florida, and just finished my sophomore year at Arizona State University, where I’ve spent the last two years as a Division 1 swimmer. I’ve been coming to North Carolina since I was little, and it’s one of my favorite places on earth. I’m the oldest of four siblings, so I’ve always loved stepping into a big-sister role and being around younger kids—it’s something that feels really natural and meaningful to me. I also attended a Christian school for the first ten years of my life, and I’m grateful for how that shaped my faith early on. I can’t wait to bring that same joy to camp, grow in faith, and make this summer unforgettable!

Something you wouldn’t guess about me: Even though I’m a Florida native, I love cold weather and rainy days!

I wanted to work at Greystone because… I wanted to give campers the kind of joy, love, and encouragement I would’ve looked up to when I was their age.

The best thing about camp will be… getting to actually slow down and enjoy the little stuff.
