Victoria Weaver

Blythewood, SC

1st year on staff

I’m a sophomore and a Special Education major at Presbyterian College! I absolutely love the outdoors and I am a proud cat mom! This is my first year as a camp counselor but I am excited to see what camp holds for me and I can not wait to meet the campers!

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare[a] and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:11-13

Things that I love: My cat willow, nature, kayaking, hiking, reading, hanging out with friends!

When I have an hour of free time, I like to… nap! I could never have enough sleep

Item that I MUST bring to Camp with me: My hammock

The one thing that makes any day better: Is a hug from a close friend

The camp food I can’t wait to eat is… mac and cheese

My favorite dad joke: Where do you take someone that has been injured in a peekaboo game? The I-C-U

My go-to pump up song: Man! I feel like a woman! or I Love It

Favorite childhood book: Don’t let the pigeon stay up late

My lovey (favorite stuffed animal, blanket, etc.) growing up was a…. pink blankie and a teddy bear from my grandfather!

I wanted to work at Junior Camp because… I feel like it would be a great opportunity to expand my horizon and learn new skills for teaching.

The best thing about camp will be… getting to know all of the campers!!
