Clemson

6 years as a camper

8th year on staff

Greystone is the only place I ever want to be in the summer and I am beyond excited to get the chance to come back this summer after 6 years away. Plus this time I get to bring my two future Greystone Girls with me! We live in Hillsborough, NC currently where my husband and I both work as physical therapists. As a family we love college sports (especially Clemson football and Duke Womens Basketball), being outside, spending time with friends and neighbors, and eating ice cream. I cannot wait to be able to serve the camp community that has been so foundational in my life, and spend five weeks in the bubble being surrounded by God’s glory and wonder.

“And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 22:37-40

Personal Interests: Podcasts, reading, college sports, loving on tiny humans (both my own and my patients), and fellowship with Christian women/moms

When I have an hour of free time, I like to… Take a walk by myself with a favorite podcast

Something you wouldn’t guess about me: I’ve recently learned how to make my own kombucha!

The emoji that describes me: The crazy face - tongue out, eyes closed (aka how my day feels a lot)

The one thing that makes any day better: A really good cup of coffee and a dose of little kiddo giggles

Best camp tradition? Closing Vespers

Favorite Evening Program? Any big event Sarah Brown schemed up

The camp food I can’t wait to eat is… Gervais’ coffee

The best book I’ve read this year: Raising Worry Free Girls by Sissy Goff

My guilty pleasure: Watching Bluey with my girls - I actually would watch it by myself too

I wanted to work at Greystone because… Spending time pouring myself out to serve others in a setting that is bursting with joy and God’s glory is something my heart is absolutely yearning for.

The best thing about camp will be… Being with some of my favorite people again :)
