Archery and Camp Photographer

1st year on staff

Hi! I’m Mary, a born and raised Texan who may not love Sweet Tea, but who does love Jesus, family, farm, and archery! Camp has always been an important part of my life, and I am so excited to be experiencing Camp Greystone for the first time!! Can’t wait to get to know all of the amazing campers and staff!!

“We love Him, because He first loved us.” 1 John 4:19

Personal Interests: My family, teaching/coaching, walking, being outside, puttering, playing games, writing, encouraging others…just so many things!

When I have an hour of free time, I like to… Researching or catching up with friends or family

Something you wouldn’t guess about me: I hitch-hiked across WY when I was a teen–DON’T follow my example!!

The emoji that describes me: Probably the wonky one!

The one thing that makes any day better: Sonshine people!

The camp food I can’t wait to eat is… Daily watermelon!!

Item that I MUST bring to Camp with me: My pictures.

My go-to pump up song: Too many to list!

The best book I’ve read this year: Inner Archer by Laval D Falks

My guilty pleasure: Walking along the beach, especially at sunset

My favorite cheesy joke: What’s the best way to catch a squirrel? Climb up a tree, and act like a nut!!

I wanted to work at Greystone because… So many combined elements: Christ, farm, archery…, along with my love of camps! When my girls asked me to come, combined with the endorsement of the rest of my family, I followed my dream!

The best thing about camp will be… I can’t wait to find out! It all looks so amazing!
