1st year on staff

Hey y’all! My name is Mary Charlotte, and I am SO PUMPED to be back at camp this summer. I am a freshman Nursing major at Samford University. I am so excited to be back at camp this summer to play all day with the best people in the whole world. I love making friends, smiling, going on adventures, and giving hugs. Excited is truly an understatement. I’m getting geared up for the best summer ever!!

“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” James 1:2-4

Personal Interests: making friends, music, sunsets (especially camp ones), long walks, gluten free baked goods, golden retreivers, hugs, having fun, and DMCs

When I have an hour of free time, I like to… spend time with friends

Something you wouldn’t guess about me: I worked as a Greystone nanny during the summer of 2022 so it’s technically my second year on staff

The emoji that describes me: the blush face jazz hands emoji

The one thing that makes any day better: my friends or a good hug

Best camp tradition? everything about sundays

Favorite Evening Program? watershow, lip syncs, and Sunday concerts!

The camp food I can’t wait to eat is… yogurt bowls and gluten free biscuits

Item that I MUST bring to Camp with me: my water bottle and my crazy creek

My go-to pump up song: ’Cmon ’Cmon by One Direction

The best book I’ve read this year: Fighting Words by Ellie Holcomb

My guilty pleasure: watching Dance Moms reruns or dark chocolate peanut butter cups from Trader Joes

The most famous person I’ve met is… Taylor Swift

My favorite cheesy joke: Why did the golfer bring two pairs of pants? In case he got a hole in one.

I wanted to work at Greystone because… The person I have grown into over the years is largely based on the foundation I gained from camp, and I wanted to give back to the place that has given me so much. I also can’t wait to make even more Christ-centered relationships that camp is famous for.

The best thing about camp will be… spending all day living my best life with camp friends new and old!
