I am an experienced critical care and cardio thoracic nurse and educator. Guided by my knowledge and skills, I take pride in providing the best care possible in a compassionate and professional manner. After 20 years of intensive care and open-heart recovery nursing, I received my masters degree in nursing education from the University of Southern Indiana. I taught Human Body Systems ( a 4 hour college credit course ) at Owensboro Community and Technical College with Life Science Academy to High School sophomores interested in a career in medicine or related field.
After a fullfilling career in nursing and teaching, I retired to have time to spend with my family and to travel. I recently visited the Holy Land with Footprints of God travel, and have aspirations to make a pilgrimage to follow the footsteps of Saint Paul through Greece. In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering at my church working in and managing the community garden.
I and my husband of 49 years, Mark, live in Owensboro Kentucky. I have four children and 10 grandchildren that I enjoy spending time with and visiting.
