Rebekah Lyons

Myrtle Beach, SC

4th Year on Staff

Hi! I’m Rebekah and I’m so excited to return to Greystone this summer for my 4th year on staff! It is my favorite place to work! :) I worked throughout my college summers in 2017, 2018, and 2019 in a variety of roles including cabin staff, program staff, Dance & Aerial Yoga Dept. head and other roles. I grew up in Myrtle Beach, SC but currently live outside of Florence, SC near my fiance’. I am getting married this summer on June 17th! Whoo hoo!

I graduated from the College of Charleston in Spring 2020 with my Bachelor of Science in Early-childhood Education and with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance. In 2022, I completed my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and school principal certification through Kennesaw State University.

I was a 2nd grade classroom teacher for my first two years of teaching. This year, I have served as a reading interventionist for elementary grades. This fall, I will be going back into the classroom to teach 3rd grade!:)

I am so excited to join Greystone for another summer full of fun! Come see me in aerial yoga! I’m looking forward to meeting all of the precious campers and amazing staff! I know that God has great plans in store!
