5th year at camp

I’m SO excited to be returning to CG Health Hut this year! This will be my first time working Main Camp, but I’ve met many of you at Junior and June Camps over the last few years.

I am from Nashville, GA, a small town in South GA where I live with my cotton farmer husband, 7 year-old son Sam and 13 year-old daughter Tess. I am most excited to come to camp because it is such a nice break from my regular job as a nurse practitioner. It doesn’t feel like work in this amazing place where you constantly see and hear the Lord. He’s in the physical setting, the people serving and especially in the joy and laughter of the campers.

Personal Interests: I love working in my yard when I can.

When I have an hour of free time, I like to… Take a nap or do my nails.

Something you wouldn’t guess about me: I became a nurse accidentally on purpose.

I wanted to work at Greystone because… When we watched the CG videos as we were searching camps for Tess I was in awe! I thought if the campers were having that much fun, surely there was an incredible staff making it happen.

The best thing about camp will be… The NOISES! Reveille, the singing, cheers, applause, laughs, giggles, excited campers chatting as they hurry along the walkways.
