Greystone Store Updates for 2026: Shop before the Summer!

You may have seen in the Parent Handbook and on our website that we’ve made a few updates to how The Greystone Store operates during the summer, and we want to make sure you’re fully up to date so that you can plan ahead for your shopping needs!

Keep reading to make sure you’re in the loop. Have questions? - we’d love to answer!

No In-Person Shopping: Browse and Shop Online before Opening Day

In keeping with our desire for simplicity and to remove shopping as a part of the everyday camp experience, The Greystone Store will NOT be open for camper shopping during the session or on Closing Days.

There is no pressure to shop, but if you or your daughter have your eyes on an item, plan to purchase it online before her camp session. You can choose to have items shipped to your home or to be delivered to your camper at camp on Opening Day. In-camp delivery is not offered during the camp session, so make sure to shop before your daughter arrives!

The Store still offers bedding bundles and team spirit bundles for in-camp delivery if those would be helpful to you and your packing.

All new items for summer 2026 are live on the site, and we hope you’ll enjoy browsing the essentials and just-for-fun items the Store offers! All new items will begin to ship in mid-April.

Essential Items for Purchase at Camp

While The Store will not be open for in-person shopping during the session, campers can purchase from a limited number of essential items, should they run out while at camp. This includes items like toiletries, a sweatshirt, t-shirt blanket, raincoat, flashlight, stamps, Odd/Even t-shirt, batteries, stationery and pens/pencils, towel, socks, Crazy Creek, water bottle, or fan.

If your camper needs an essential item, she can fill out an order form, and it will be delivered to her during her session. Her counselor(s) will help your daughter with completing the form!

Any essential items purchased will be charged to the payment method on file in your Greystone Account, and you will receive an email regarding the charge. To see a statement with charge details, follow the instructions on this page.

If you’re concerned about your daughter’s spending on essential items, please talk to her before the summer. Of course, you may also ship forgotten necessary items to your daughter at camp, as always, as long as they are appropriately labeled. While we don’t offer in-camp delivery from the Store website during the session, we will always help campers find what they need; please reach out to us if you ever have any concerns!

No Personal Allowance Account Needed

Because the Store is not open for shopping during the summer, campers no longer need a Personal Allowance account, so you can check that off your pre-camp to-do list! Essential items purchased at camp and donations to the Sunday offering will be charged to your payment on file.

We hope these updates will maintain the fun and helpful services of the Greystone Store, while also prioritizing simplicity and reducing the focus on shopping during camp sessions. We look forward to continuing to serve our community through excellent products and customer service in the Store!

As always, please let us know what questions you have and how we can be helpful as the summer approaches. Camp itself is the ultimate gift, but if you are interested in the extras, we hope you’ll have fun browsing the website before the summer!
