We know that one of the things you look forward to the most about Greystone is the incredible activities you get to try here. We spend all year working to make your classes and schedule better than ever!

We’re offering some great activities this year at Junior and June, Main, and August Camps, taught by our wonderful staff. But we may be MOST excited about the plan we have in place for class schedules! Each session’s schedule was planned particularly for that group of campers, to give them the best activity experience possible.

Have questions about how classes are working at your particular session? We’ve got answers! You can see the full daily schedule here, but read on to get excited about activities at your session. No matter which session you’re attending, we know that you are going to have fun, make friends, and learn a new skill or two!

Junior Camp:

Junior Campers will love trying every class we offer at Junior Camp throughout the session! This gives you the chance to sample all kinds of different classes so you can see what we offer and find new activities you will love.

Each cabin will have a set schedule of five activities a day that you will go to together. Last year we found that going around to classes as a group gave Junior Campers so much security and confidence… and just was a lot more fun. Junior Campers, you are going to love trying out every activity at camp with your cabinmate best friends!

June and August Camps:

This year, June and August campers will be able to choose their own classes! After trying every activity in camp last year, we know you’ve found some new favorites you can’t wait to take again.

You can read more about how scheduling works here, but know that you will sign up for your activities on Opening Day with your cabinmates and counselor. You will choose 12 classes total - 6 classes a day on an alternating Monday/Wednesday/Friday and Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday schedule (4 classes in the morning and two in the afternoon).

Does it feel like a big deal to commit to 12 classes at the beginning of the session? Don’t worry! You will have a couple of days at the start to try all of your activities - if you don’t love something, we will help you switch to something better. We want each camper to find her perfect schedule!

June and August campers can also enjoy Club classes during free time on specific days during the session. It is a great way for you to try extra activities on top of your normal schedule!

Main Camp:

Get excited Main Campers, you’re also choosing your own classes this year, but we are SO excited to reveal a brand new twist for the first time (that you have been requesting for years): we’re calling it the mid-camp switch!

We bet you can guess what it means; after all, how hard would it be to commit to 12 classes for five whole weeks after doing so many last year? The mid-session switch is exactly what it sounds like. You will have the opportunity to change around your classes midway through camp, whether you are ready to try something new, want to meet more people, or just want to try out more activities throughout the summer.

Main Campers will take 6 classes a day on an alternating Monday/Wednesday/Friday and Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday schedule. We will help you find your perfect schedule!

We know you’ll also be thrilled to hear that Clubs are back at Main Camp in full force and will be better than ever! Our 6th period at Main Camp is a Flex period where you’ll have the flexibility to try out different Clubs. It’s the perfect way to experience something new or get extra time in a favorite class.

No matter which session you’re coming to this summer, your activities are going to be better than ever! So start exploring what we offer. Greystone Girls, you are going to LOVE your classes this year!
