All Things Travel - New Camper Blog Series

It’s hard to believe that in a few short weeks we will be kicking off the summer!! What better way to prepare for our upcoming summer than talking about all things Travel-related, especially as you’ll soon be thinking about getting to camp. We’ve got a few short videos for you today, as you prepare for your arrival and departure from Greystone.

Arrival:

Travel Form: One of the biggest confusions parents have is how to fill out their Travel Form. The biggest mistake is in regards to flying to and from camp (or really, in terms of if you are flying with your daughter versus if she is flying alone). Check out this video for the details.

Getting Your Things to Camp: Our packing list will get you all set on what to bring, but how do you get all of your things to camp? Our Travel Director Caroline is here to help.

Departure

Shipping Luggage Home: Whether flying or driving, many campers ship their luggage home. We walk you through the details on shipping with UPS and how we get ALL of that luggage out the cabin door.

Leaving by Car: Many of our campers leave by car. We give the ins and outs of how that process works on Closing Day.

Flying Home: Is your daugther flying home, and are we taking her to the airport? If so, Caroline will catch you up on all details of how we get our airport girls to their planes on Closing Day.

Checking Airport Luggage: Flying home? Check out the details on how we help with checking ONE bag at the airport for each camper.

As you’re thinking of travelling to camp, make sure to check out our Places to Stay information, including details on good restaurants in the area (just a sidenote, our old kitchen director owns two fabulous food joints near camp: Hubba Hubba Smokehouse and Honey & Salt – both are worth a visit!).
