Our Favorite Activity Moments of 2018

Honing those skills

No matter what class you’re in, your instructors want you to be safe, have fun, and LEARN something great! Whether you’re moving up the levels in Riflery or practicing your scales in Music, you learn something new everyday in your activities, and build on those skills through the whole session.

Facing your fears

Eleanor Roosevelt is famous for saying, “Do one thing everyday that scares you,” and there is no better place to practice this than at camp. Surrounded by encouraging friends and counselors, you’re free to venture a little bit outside of your comfort zone. There’s no better time to dive in!

The work was worth it

As camp draws to a close, you start to see the results of all your efforts, especially in our Arts classes! Whether it’s a project that comes out better than you could have expected, or a skill you’ve finally perfected, there’s nothing better than going home with that accomplishment.

Performances

All those skills and routines you’ve perfected over the last few weeks? Now is the time to show them off! You will own the stage with your counselors cheering in the wings. Get ready for your bow as 600 people cheer for you!

You’d think all of this learning is serious business, right? Wrong! Our #1 objective is that you would have FUN in your activities, and no matter what class you take, you can be sure there will be lots of silly moments!
