100th Archives: We Need Your Help!

Even while we’re busy getting ready for our 99th summer, we know that the 100th is just around the corner in 2019, and we can’t wait!

It’s going to be a year-long celebration of everything the Lord has done in a century (!!) of this place, and we’re already working hard to prepare. We’ve loved going through our archives that commemorate life at Greystone over the years. We have pictures, videos, photo albums, and journals, but we know there is so much more out there, and that is where you come in!

Each one of our campers, counselors, and parents have contributed to our history, and we know you have the memorobilia to prove it!

We know there are some Greystone treasures out there, and we are on a hunt for the best of the best. We’re looking for alums to send us their little pieces of history, and the best part? You’ll get them back!

We’re specifically looking for…

  • Greystone Shirts from any era, especially Stumblers shirts
  • QLB plates from any year
  • Council Fire patches (no need to send felt G’s)
  • Letters: anything from counselor-written letters to parents, to letters home from campers
  • Banquet menus and nametags
  • Banquet toasts
  • Copies of your schedule
  • Any kind of item from an activity department
  • Good quality pictures from the 60’s and 70’s that aren’t staged cabin photos

Have something really amazing that wasn’t mentioned? Send it anyway, we would love to see it!

Does any of this ring a bell? Do you have another kind of Greystone gem sitting in a box in your closet? We want to see it ASAP! Please mail any items by March 15th.

All contributions can be sent to:
