EA's Gift Guide

Gift giving is literally my FAVORITE thing about Christmas. The moment I purchase a present, it takes everything in me to keep it secret. Here are a few of my favorite places to buy that have a great mission behind their product; also a few “must-haves” for the holiday season! Enjoy!

// The Goal Zero Rock Out 2 Portable Speaker is also a family favorite of ours. You can you clip this bad boy to just about anything, AND it protects your phone while listening to music. It even has a solar charging system! #anythingbutbasic

// Little do people know that our kitchen director, Gervais Hollowell, owns and operates an amazing coffee company. Buy a Christmas treat for those coffee lovers in the family. This cup of Joe packs a real punch, and does so by supporting the local/global community!

// The S'well bottle. Keeps coffee warm AND your ice from melting?! I was a skeptic for sure...until given one and boy was it the BEST GIFT EVER. Love the quality of this coffee tumbler by morning/water bottle by day and night. Great gift for any age!

// If you haven’t heard of “She Reads Truth”, well Merry Christmas to you and get ready for a treat. I am SUPER A.D.D. and have a really hard time finding a devotional that works for my artistic (sometimes distracted) brain. Their devotions don’t just come to your phone, they also come in paper! What a great gift for the holiday season — filled with scripture, poems, devotions and sometimes the occasional recipe; these little books are something you don’t want to miss!

// Dark Chocolate Peppermint Joe Joe’s. True life story: I used to work at Trader Joes. It was so much fun and I absolutely LOVED the holiday season at the store. Although busy (if you’ve ever been to “the Joe” during the holidays - you feel me), the magic is alive! Yes, it could be the amazing art team who decorates the store, but I really think it’s whatever they put in these chocolate covered peppermint Joe Joe’s. Stuff a stocking with these babies (or just hide them for yourself). Trust me, you’ll thank me later.

// Mast General Christmas Socks. Call me crazy but socks should ALWAYS be given at Christmas and Mast General Store does it right! My parents started this tradition a while ago and although years of sock giving has added up to Christmas socks year round — these socks are the BEST. Mast General is a local staple here in North Carolina. Visit their website for some great holiday ideas!

// FashionABLE is a wonderful company that invests in women both locally and globally who have overcome challenges ranging from prostitution to addiction to a lack of opportunity. I just LOVE the products they are teaching these women how to make. Check their website for amazing products made by inspiring women.

// Give a goat! Love the Samaritan’s Purse gift catalog. For years my parents gave chickens, goats or clean water to a village in honor of our family. Back then, I didn’t realize how special this type of gift giving was. What a great way to start the gift giving season. And let’s be real, how cool is it to give livestock to another family for Christmas?!?! Amazing!!!

// Give to the Great Day Fund. Want to share your camp experience? Give the gift of camp to someone else! Make a donation in honor of a friend or family member and pass the blessing of this place along. Merry Christmas Greystone girls!
