The Blue Book: A Devotional Guide for Every Season of Your Life: A Young Life classic, this is a great daily devotional for high schoolers. This year-long guide is designed to offer space and structure, Scripture and prayers, as well as readings and reflections for your daily time with God
Fighting Words Devotional: 100 Days of Speaking Truth into the Darkness: You know her and you love her! In this devotional, Ellie Holcomb invites you to dive in the living Word and watch as it brings about life and flourishing.
Every Moment Holy by Douglas McKelvey: This beautiful book has become a favorite of our year-round team! In it you will find liturgies for every occasion imaginable.
The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry: How to Stay Emotionally Healthy and Spiritually Alive in the Chaos of the Modern World by John Mark Comer: This book has been transformative for so many people we know! John Mark Comer makes the case for slowing down to avoid the “hurry sickness” we all feel these days.
None Like Him: 10 Ways God Is Different from Us (and Why That’s a Good Thing): This book comes highly recommended! Jen Wilkin invites us to celebrate the freedom that comes when we rest in letting God be God.
Well-Watered Women Co: This website (with a Greystone Girl connection!) is full of resources and studies to guide your time in scripture. Their “how to study the Bible” guide would be a great place to start!
She Reads Truth Podcast: So many of our campers and counselors love the She Reads Truth devotionals, and the weekly podcast goes along with what the community is reading at that time.
The WHOA That’s Good Podcast: This counselor-recommended podcast by Sadie Robertson Huff is full of encouragement and wisdom as she asks Christian authors and speakers for their best advice.
RYM Bible Studies: These are really great, free downloadable bible studies for high schoolers!
Bible Study Schoolhouse: They have lots of different resources, including studies and scripture cards. A few people on our team use their Bible Study Journal and Book By Book fieldguide.
Tiny Theologians: Another great company with resources like journals, family devotion cards, and Lunchbox scripture notes.
