There is something magical about being here at Greystone. The love and kindness of this community is a wonder to behold and was celebrated last night with the 5-year program. The senior group collectively represents over 1,000 summers spent at Greystone and we heard directly from the graduating campers their answers to the question “why do you keep coming back to camp?”. The answers to this question were an inspiration and a balm to our spirits. I loved hearing them speak and loved seeing their confidence shine as they spoke eloquently in front of a huge congregation of campers and counselors.
Today will be a day that centers on The Lord, and we anticipate the presence of The Holy Spirit being felt in a particularly poignant way as we gather for church. This post will be shorter than usual as I do not have much time, but know that we are well. It is a beautiful morning marked by a cool breeze and a quiet routine that will recharge our tired bodies. Tonight we will enjoy another concert, accompanied by a moon that will shine brightly as we gather fireflies and dance on our way back to our cabins. God is good.
Thank you for checking in. Enjoy the sabbath, pray, and thank the Lord for his many blessings. We join you in this good blessing!
