Meg Murray in Sparkle City!!

What a great day! I zipped down to Spartanburg to see some awesome people! First – I met with Laura Hollowell at her house. I got to see Leland too. Poor thing just got her wisdom teeth taken out so she looked like a lopsided chipmunk. Laura is taking great care of her and she will be back in action soon! Then, I met a group of Wofford and Converse girls at the Taco Dog for a quick dinner. We ran into some Greystone girls while we were there. Who knew that Taco Dog was such a hot spot?? From there Catherine and I headed to Spartanburg Day School to see Meg Murray’s show. It was AWESOME! Meg is such a treasure. She had spoken to the students at Spartanburg Day earlier in the school day. She is such a great speaker and is so motivational. She shared her music & gave us some insight into what she was thinking when she wrote her songs. I loved it. She sang “Coffee Shop Boy” and I could not help but tap my toe and sing along! She also sang “Worth”, “Masterpiece of my Heart”, “Better Half”, “Not for You”, “Back to Me” and “Porcelain”. She sang one that she had not done live before…it was called…oh man…I can remember lines from it, but I can’t remember the title. If you were there and you know, email it to me – kelly@campgreystone.com I probably missed a couple of songs on this list, but it was great! If you can ever catch her in your area or in Nashville – you SHOULD! Of course…she will be at Greystone this summer which ROCKS!!

Last challenge – WHO CAN NAME 1 or BOTH of the girls in the last photo??? It was taken in the 70’s. Prize to the winner!!

Have a great week!
Kelly
