Special events are what make camp so memorable. While we offer new programs each and every year, we also enjoy many camp traditions that date back to the 1920s. It is part of what makes Greystone so special. Campers gather at our council fire ring just as our first campers did in the 1920s. Girls enjoy our friendly Green and Gold team competitions just as their mothers and grandmothers did in their many years as campers. As we enjoy these timeless traditions, we constantly refine them, making each event relevant for our campers today. We also have many new events that have quickly become special camp programs. Our Derby Day, which began in 2007, has earned its place in the Greystone record books as a camper favorite. Campers love these newer traditions that add a little spice to the schedule each year.
