The Great Day Fund

Within the past 15 years, beloved directors Jim Miller, III (Jimdaddy) and Libby Miller were welcomed into the loving arms of their Lord and Savior, leaving behind a legacy that has touched many lives.

In memory of our directors, Libby and Jim Miller, we established The Great Day Fund in 2010, an endowment fund to provide camperships for girls whose families cannot afford camp. The Great Day Fund will provide these camperships to eligible families – both new and current camp families – who are in need of financial assistance.

“It’s gonna be a GREAT day and I feel TERRIFIC!” Jimdaddy

The lessons we learned from Libby and Jim are alive and well in this place, living on in the hearts of everyone who experiences the joy of camp. We never want financial circumstances to determine who can come to Greystone. We believe that the Holy Spirit draws families to camp, and we will always seek innovative ways to admit them regardless of their ability to pay.

Libby and Jim loved to surprise friends with gifts and always wanted to provide for those in need. We feel that there is no better way to honor their memory than through The Great Day Fund.

We have chosen to establish the Great Day Fund through the Community Foundation of Hendersonville County ensuring that 100% of the donated funds go towards camperships and are eligible for charitable deduction. By establishing the Fund in this way, Greystone will be able to offer more financial assistance to families in need for many years to come.

A gift to the Great Day Fund of any amount is valuable and appreciated. As always your donation is tax deductible and will help provide the camp experience to a deserving new generation.
