A Day in the Life of Baker and Harry

What some folks might not know is that both Caroline and I adopted two of this summer’s beloved dog camp dogs. Yes, that’s right; Harry and Baker have now taken residence during the day in the lower office.

Their routine is SO cute. Caroline always beats me to work, so the moment Baker gets out of the car his first stop is her office to say hi to his brother Harry.

After their formal greeting, which usually includes Harry biting Baker’s leg and Baker sitting on his face in return, they head outside for a little playtime.

Once the boys are settled, it’s time for us to get to work. Email is up, the day is planned and the dogs take their first nap of the day – sometimes together or sometimes in their own space.

Lunch hits, and the boys are ready for some action – so it’s out they go and then back in for a little treat (if they sit) from Caroline.

The best part of the day is when Caroline has story time with the little guys. Nothing like practicing the 4-fold way with our furry friends!

This was our best attempt at a selfie...:/

After a few more naps and wrestling with each other, it’s time for the little guys to go home. Some days Baker and I take a walk up Apple Hill before we head up to Asheville and sometimes Harry goes for a run with Caroline before they go down to Greenville. Either way, these two LOVE being around each other on the daily! Boy do they keep us entertained!
