At Greystone, we do all for the glory of God. Every moment is an opportunity for growth.

In relationships with campers, you will grow in your leadership skills, learning how to effectively lead campers in your classes, in your cabin, in Sunday school, or at your table.

You will also learn to work with all different types of campers who range in age, background, experience, and confidence. Learning to effectively manage a diverse group is a wonderful skill to gain while working at Greystone.

The friendships that develop at camp are life-long. Many of our counselors develop some of their most meaningful life relationships while working at Greystone; there is something special about pouring yourself out day in and day out with like-minded individuals who also love Jesus. These relationships provide encouragement and accountability throughout the summer and continue to thrive when returning to school in the fall.

Greystone also offers the opportunity for growth physically, providing an active lifestyle and active community. Many of our counselors bond while running, working-out, walking around the lake, doing a Zumba class, or Yoga. Every meal includes fresh and healthy food options. You’ll love eating well at camp!

We also know that counselors need to be nurtured spiritually while working at camp. To this end we offer our staff small group Bible Studies, weekly staff morning devotions, and periodic evening devotions. All Cabin Staff present a Bible based devotion to their campers every evening before lights out, and our Program Staff teach a Sunday School lesson each week to a cabin of girls. We also have a full-time minister on staff, and we enjoy wonderful Sunday morning worship services for the entire camp.
