What we believe

What we believe

At Camp Greystone we believe:

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, without error, and suitable for the ministry at hand. 2 Timothy 3:16
In One God, eternally existing in the three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, loving and just.
Man was created in the image of God, but fell through sin, and is now eternally separated from God. Romans 6:23 and 3:23
Jesus paid the penalty for our sins, by dying on the Cross to restore our broken relationship with God. Romans 5:8 and Ephesians 2:8-9
In fulfilling the “Great Commission.” Matthew 28:18-20

Our Christian commitment

We want servants! Just like Christ was. (Mark 10:45) We give counselors the opportunity to serve children, families and each other throughout the summer and year. How does this happen? Well, we need counselors to be F.A.T. Christians. Faithful, Available, and Teachable to the Lord – the Greystone system of camp and our Discipleship program.

Faithful in trusting that God has a purpose for them to be at camp and faithful to the leaders of Greystone.
Available in all accounts of life. Ready to help out where help is needed. Ready to sweat so that others may rest. Ready to hear what God is saying.
Teachable to what God has to offer in 5 to 10 weeks of service in His Name.
To be a counselor at Greystone is to know the joy of making a girl smile, teaching her a new skill, watching her learn, seeing friendships form that will last a lifetime, and being part of those friendships. You’re joining a team devoted to God, to the girls, and to
each other.
