Camp Greystone is accredited by the American Camp Association.
First time skiers learn in a "tried and true" fashion by starting out on the "Boom". This excellent training device allows the student to ski beside the boat at a safe distance. The instructor is able to correct and communicate from a closer distance providing an accelerated learning experience. The solid support of the boom also helps with balance when feeling a little unsteady!
Safety First
Extra precaution is taken to protect campers from too much sun by having them apply sunscreen at regular intervals during the day and they are encouraged to drink plenty of water. All of the boats are equipted with bimini tops for shade as well.
The staff are Red Cross certified lifeguards with First Aid and CPR skills. In addition, all instructors are USA Waterski certified Level 1 instructors.
