Camp Greystone is accredited by the American Camp Association.
Once a camper comes to Greystone, she almost always wants to return! So it is not unusual for new campers to start their career on a wait list, but this uncertain stage doesn't last very long and we try to make it easy.
The Registration Process
At the end of each session campers are given the opportunity to re-enroll for the coming summer; these are our "early bird" campers, and they tend to fill most of the regular sessions (June, Main, August) then many gradually drop out as their plans change over the fall and winter.
When we receive new applications, we admit them as space allows. In the event that your preferred session is full, you have three options:
- Enroll in another session
- Add your name to a session's wait list
- Add your name to a wait list & enroll in another session (This guarantees a spot for the summer regardless of your position on the wait list!)
Often it is best to attend an alternate session for your first summer at Greystone. This is a great solution because you then will be able to “early bird” for the next summer! †
