The Great Day 5K

We had the BEST time at the Alumni Weekend this past weekend. I think it was my favorite off season weekend that we have ever done. It was so much fun! Over the next week, we’ll be posting many different pictures – I can’t wait!

My favorite part of the weekend was the Great Day 5K. It was our first every 5K at camp, and it was a blast. Everyone participated in some way – either by running, walking, or cheering along the course. (Many of our main camp runners will remember the course as a group ran the course this summer.) The course is quite challenging, but it was beautiful! The weather was cool and crisp – the perfect fall running day.

Most importantly, Jimboy placed third in the men’s division! (We might have only had 3 guys running, but that’s beside the point). Way to go Jimboy! Laura also placed first in her division, and Gervais placed first in the men’s division. Stumblers had everyone prepared!
