Empty

It is hard to believe that camp is over. For those of us who have been here all summer, it is almost too quiet. Walking through camp feels empty – no clothes on the lines, no sound coming from the pavilion, no smell of fresh bread coming from the kitchen. It was just days ago that camp was filled and now it is so lonely!

I walked through camp this morning to snap some pictures. Everything looks the same, except for closed signs and no campers! We start the “closing down” process this week, as it takes quite an effort to winterize all of camp.

We have some great plans for blogging all year – get excited! I was talking to Lell this morning, and we were already coming up with plans for 2011. It will be here before we know it!
