WEEKLY UPDATE
Running Rocks!
I am so excited to share the fun we had at the Kiawah 1/2 Marathon! I tried to document all the excitement.
It all began at camp this summer. These counselors, along with countless others, bought JimDaddy's program. They started with Greystone Stumblers. Pretty soon that just was not enough. They began to up their milage. Then, they set their goal. They wrote it down, set a time limit, assembled their team, identified their obstacles & kept their eyes on the reward! We are so proud of them.

Pre-race dinner. This is very important to morning run success!

Sarah, Caroline & Hayes were campaigning for the cover of Sparks!

Lynsey is helping Sarah to get pumped up! (This is the morning of the race.)

Audrey & Caroline look like they are ready.

Hayes looks a bit nervous for the 13.1 miile run.

Rachel, Lynsey & I are on the cheer team! We are full of spirit &
happy shouts!

This photo reminds me of a picture I have seen before...

Did I say spirit? I really meant it! We cheered hard!

Look at that concentration! I did not want to miss my runners!

I am not sure that we have placed Rachel in the right summer activity area.
She worked Ropes last summer, what do you all think of cheerleading for Rachel
this year? (Hee hee, She is back on the team for Summer 2004 - Adventure!
Ropes!)

They are going strong at mile 8!

We had our Greystone G with us!

Fuller kept her eyes on the prize!

Rachel & Lynsey learned that you are always careful of alligators when
near a Danger Alligator sign!

What could they be doing here? A special wave?

Here is Caroline crossing the finish! You go girl!

I am so proud of these girls!
What an awesome feeling!

Seconds after their finish, they were all ready for their photo shoot!

They wanted JimDaddy to see their accomplishment! I will be sure he knows
about it!

Lynsey & Rachel were exhausted after the race! We worked hard to keep
up with the team!

Very happy friends!

Audrey & Hayes think they are ready for duty as Charlie's Angels.
I was so happy to be on the Kiawah team! I think we are going to try & make this a tradition.
Keep in touch!
Have a great week!
