GREYSTONE FUN WEEKEND WITH SKIP YEAR CAMPERS & COUNSELORS

What fun to see our old friend Kathryn Sturdivant back at Greystone! She had some big news for us. Do you know what it is? Guess on Grey Café of The Grey Café.

Dameron was the captain of our tour.

We had a great fall party barge trip! Sadly, no one jumped off the top. Pictured starting on the left: Mary Lymberis, Annie Cederholm, Holly Sitton, Baker Hayes & Mackenzie Morris.

The weather this weekend was a dream. It was cold at night, but heavenly during the day. We spent time talking about the past & the future at camp. We even got to experience a little past. The water had already been cut off for the winter in the castle, so we got to walk to the White Hall bathrooms. Ah the memories...minus the chains that you had to hold down to keep the shower on.

Justine is keeping bust as usual. She and Kim Johnston are running the Greystone Barn year round. They will have a website soon. I'll be sure to feature it on the Weekly Update when it is finished. They have been traveling to horse shows & winning loads of ribbons. They also train horses to sell. I think I might put a Greystone horse on my Christmas list this year! I better keep being good this year.

Cammy Bethea came for the weekend as well. She will be joining us for Summer 2002. She will assist Katie with both Junior Camps & work on Counselor Bible studies etc.

We will hopefully make fall retreats a tradition. It was a relaxing time to reflect on the summer & generate ideas for the future.

Greystone Girls love their country.

There were some wonderful people who enjoyed the retreat, but somehow did not get their picture taken. Sheridan Lee was in on the fun Friday night. Jenny Haljun was there most of the weekend (is she camera shy?). Gervais & Laura Hollowell made guest appearances as well as our dear pal Jimboy.
