David Vining, At Greystone since 1983 I graduated from Clemson in 1984, and I started working at the McCallie School in Chattanooga, TN in the Fall of that year. McCallie is an all boys boarding prep school where I teach 7th grade math, and I’m the head Middle School Tennis Coach there as well. |

I am involved in Young Life—I lead at a high school just outside of Athens (Jackson County High School)—and am a member of Phi Mu Sorority. As part of my journalism major, I intern for Bulldawg Illustrated, a newspaper that talks about football and life at the University of Georgia. |

I play softball for the GSU Panthers and I am involved in the FCA program, which joins efforts with the Atlanta First United Methodist Church in downtown on a number of outreach projects. Evangeline Shepard, New to Greystone Hey! I am a soon-to-be junior at Gordon College, a small Christian college north of Boston. It’s extremely cold up there, but the school is great, and I keep myself busy with worship teams, dorm life, friends, and of course-- a little academia. I am a Communication Arts major, minor in French, and I plan on doing something in the media/journalism world. I’m from a huge family and have moved around a lot so I currently don’t have one place that feels most like “home.” |

Maddy Spencer, At Greystone since 1998 Hey ya’ll! I am a freshman at Ithaca College in upstate NY and I have nothing but good things to say about it… yes I’d say even the snow is a good thing. I am originally from sunny San Diego, CA and I am double majoring in Drama and Business. I am actively involved in many of the activities on campus including the community service Jump Start program, comedy club, intramural kickball, waterpolo, wall climbing, Ithaca College TV, and some theatre groups. I can also be found around campus pumping some iron in the gym, gorge jumping, laughing in the library, or just singing Greystone songs on my way to class. Camp Greystone is by far my favorite place to be on earth! |

Elizabeth Maye, New to Greystone I am a rising senior at Covenant College, a small Presbyterian college in Lookout Mountain, GA right near Chattanooga, TN. I am an Elementary Education Major and hope to teach children in the earlier grades after I graduate. I am also interested in Special Education and have volunteered with children with autism since my junior year in high school. I now work with a 5th grade girl in my church on Sunday mornings that has autism. At Covenant, I enjoy learning new things, playing intramural sports, being outside, running, and being with my friends, especially my roommate, who’s name is Elizabeth too! Most of all I enjoy being in an environment that encourages me to grow in the Lord. |

I am majoring in International and Global Studies in the Hispanic World and am really looking forward to studying abroad with Sewanee’s Semester in Spain program in the spring of 2010. I am a member of Phi Kappa Epsilon sorority, which you most likely have never heard of because we only have local sororities at Sewanee. I love being a part of Big People for Little People which is a program that pairs college students with local elementary school kids and arranges fun after-school activities. I enjoy dancing with Perpetual Motion which is a student run organization. I am also a member of the Order of the Gownsmen. |
