Wonderful Wednesday at Junior Camp!

Carnival was a HUGE success! The campers had such a good time at the picnic with their cabins, riding the inflatables, eating cookies, cotton candy, funnel cakes, popcorn and grilled cheese sandwiches. The dance contest was outstanding! The weather was perfect. After the fun, the girls went back to their cabins, cleaned up and happily went to bed. All slept well last night.

Today is Challenge Day! This morning was sunny and warm. We started with regular activities, then lunch. After rest hour, the girls changed into their yellow and green, and will be playing fun games to build points for their teams the Odds and the Evens.

It is hard to believe that tomorrow is our last full day of camp. We will have a full day of activities, followed by a time of packing up, then BANQUET for dinner and Evening Program.

I have gotten several questions from parents today about pick up time and rountine. You will come to the same entrance that you used for opening day, starting at 7:30 am. Most girls have been picked up by 9 am, so do let us know if you are running late.

We will be bringing your daughter’s heavy bags from the cabin area to the Soccer Field, where you will be able to load up your car. Please make sure that you check the tags for the number of bags delivered (1 of 3, 2 of 3, 3 of 3)…you will probably have more than 1 bag to pick up!

Then walk up to your camper cabin, where you will sign out your daughter with the cabin counselor. Laundry Bags and Duffle Bags are often forgotten so make sure to check that you have ALL of your luggage before you depart. You will be given a letter upon arrival that will explain the early bird enrollment for next summer.
