Dog Camp Update - PUPPIES!

Hi camp friends! It is that time of year! Time to introduce the Dog Camp puppies for Summer 2014! They are so so so cute! We are bringing GOLDEN RETRIEVERS back and adding CHOCOLATE LABRADOODLES!! I see lots of puppies each year and these are just awesome!

I get tons of questions about our Dog Camp program. The most popular is “Who adopts the puppies at the end of the summer?”. We start a list each year beginning in February of people interested in being considered for a dog camp puppy. To get on this list you email me, let me know that you are interested & tell me a bit about your situation (yard, other dogs, children, location, etc.) In early July we make calls to determine where each puppy will make his/her forever home. We do charge a fee to cover shots, etc. The puppies are from great breeders and are in great health. Puppies are picked up on closing day of August Camp (8/8). This is a BIG decision. The campers who take Dog Camp learn that taking care of puppies is a LOT of work. It also takes space, time and commitment. We want our dog camp puppies to go to great forever homes. By the end of the summer they are socialized, crate trained and happy puppies. They are far from perfect and still need continued training, but they are off to a great start!

This summer in the Golden Retriever group we have 2 boys from the same litter & 2 girls from the same mama. The boys are a few weeks older than the girls. The Chocolate Labradoodles are both girls and about the same age as the female Goldens.

Both breeders are from the Upstate of South Carolina and, as of today, there are still 2 male Goldens available. If you are interested in getting a puppy NOW – contact me and I will pass on their info!

Enjoy the photos!!
